After a five-day arbitration hearing, we won a $1.8 million award for our client, a major technology company, for breach of a product development contract. The contract was a year-long collaborative product development contract between our client and the defendant, a major industrial equipment supplier. After months of work, however, the defendant pulled out of the contract without justification. Though the defendant advanced a host of theories in defense, the arbitration panel found in our client’s favor and awarded extensive damages.
