Blake received his J.D., with honors, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He received his B.A. in philosophy, with high honors, from Wheaton College, and his M.A. in religion from the University of Chicago.

Before joining the firm, Blake served for three years as a law clerk to federal district court judges—one year with Judge Ewing Werlein, Jr., in Houston, and two years with Judge James R. Sweeney II in Indianapolis.

During law school, Blake was, at various times, an intern with the SEC’s Enforcement Division, a student-attorney at Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Investor Protection Center, an editor of a journal, and a law clerk at a securities litigation firm.

Blake lives in Chicago with his wife. When he’s not working, you can usually find him wandering around Chicago listening to an audiobook or in a neighborhood bar arguing with friends about sports.
