Gair Argues For Former Alderman In U.S. Supreme Court

On Tuesday January 14, Chris Gair argued before the Supreme Court in Thompson v. United States. The question presented was whether 18 U.S.C. 1014 applies only to false statements to financial institutions or also reaches misleading ones. Gair represented former Alderman Patrick Daley Thompson, who was convicted under the statute three years ago.
